Access & Emergency Services Specialist
Responsible for completing telephonic or in-person clinical screenings and/or brief assessments of persons requesting behavioral health services. Makes determination of appropriate level of care and eligibility for referrals to the public behavioral health system, which may include acute care services, specialty mental health services, substance use disorder services, or diversion to alternative non-specialty mental health services. Full-time shifts available for second (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM) and third shift (10:00 PM -7:00 AM for 8 shifts and one shift 11:00 PM -7:00 AM over a two-week period). and third shift. Third shift will be a hybrid position following the training period. Must have weekend availability.

Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, with current Michigan Social Work license required. Prefer a minimum of two years of experience in the behavioral health field providing services to children/adolescents and/or two years of experience working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must be proficient in the use of technology and possess a high level of customer service skills/phone etiquette. Prior experience completing mental health evaluations and an understanding of clinical diagnoses based on the current DSM V is required. Familiarity with managed care philosophy, systems and procedures is preferred.

Salary
Salary range of $46,031 – $57,911 plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension, and insurance. $1,000 signing bonus!

Team Leader
Position available to coordinate limited aspects of team operations including clinical consultation, assisting with scheduling staff, reviewing clinical documents, providing input on administrative projects and giving input to the Clinical Services Program Manager related to staff performance. Reviews the work of a team of professionals to ensure interventions are clinically appropriate. Provides crisis intervention, preadmission screening services, access screenings, and substance use disorder screenings. The work hours will be 3 PM – 11 PM.

Qualifications
Minimum of a master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling with appropriate licensure or certification to provide behavioral health treatment to populations served. Previous supervisory experience in a mental health setting and a Substance Use Disorder credential preferred. Must have competency in information system applications and have a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license and availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.

Pay Range
Salary range of $62,269 – $73,725 plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension, and insurance. $1,000 signing bonus!

Infant Mental Health Specialist
Provides service to optimize the social, emotional and cognitive development of infants who are at risk of experiencing disorders in attachment and separation with their primary care givers. Provides psychotherapeutic intervention, developmental guidance, case management and crisis intervention. Provides consultation and education to the community.

Qualifications
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in social work, clinical psychology or psychiatric nursing with current Michigan licensure appropriate to field of study is required. Experience providing services to infants and/or families, consultation activities and crisis intervention required along with knowledge of emotional disorders, child development, family dynamics, psychosocial assessment and treatment techniques. Clinical Specialist – Crisis Stabilization/Mobile Response
$1,000 signing bonus! Completes preadmission screenings for individuals requesting crisis stabilization services to determine eligibility for program services and/or to recommend an alternative level of care. Conducts brief assessments. Provides crisis intervention, short-term and solution-focused counseling, and intensive case management services in the individual’s home when appropriate. Facilitates individual’s transition to appropriate aftercare service. Works Monday – Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 12 midnight with availability to stay beyond if needed for crisis response.

Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work with current Michigan licensure. A master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling with current Michigan licensure appropriate to the field of study preferred. LMSW preferred. Must have two years of experience working in the mental health field with proven crisis intervention skills. Knowledge of substance use disorders with current CAADC credential preferred. Salary

Psychiatrist
Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide outpatient psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, medication review and treatment to individuals in need of specialty psychiatric services. Services are provided in a culturally competent and trauma informed manner that focuses on a person-centered approach. In addition, prepare treatment plans, coordinate and communicate clinical decision making with input from the individual and other providers (case managers, PCPs, etc.) to ensure care is provided in a recovery-based and integrated approach. In addition, this candidate will serve as a collaborating physician for mid-level practitioners.

Qualifications
Requires M.D. or D.O. degree. Required Michigan Medical license, valid DEA required. Recognized Board Certification/eligibility preferred. Clinical experience with children and/or adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred. Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment preferred. Computer skills including experience with electronic medical record for consumer charting preferred.

Residential Technician
Full-Time 2nd shift (2 p.m. – 10 p.m.) and full-time 3rd (10 p.m. – 6 a.m.) positions available to provide support in a residential setting to people who experience an intellectual disability and to assist them with maintaining and developing relationships in their community and at home.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.  Experience working with people who have an intellectual disability is preferred.  Must be willing to attend and complete paid training including group home curriculum and CPR and First Aid.  Possession of a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required.  Must have the physical ability to carry out the typical job duties.  Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Wage:
Base rate of $18.49 per hour.  Benefits include pension plan, and paid training.  $500 signing bonus!
