Client Services Specialist – Crisis Stabilization/Mobile Response
Completes preadmission screenings for individuals requesting crisis stabilization services to determine eligibility for program services and/or to recommend an alternative level of care. Conducts brief assessments. Provides crisis intervention, short-term and solution-focused counseling, and intensive case management services in the individual’s home when appropriate. Facilitates individual’s transition to appropriate aftercare service. Full-time shift available for Monday – Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 12 midnight with availability to stay beyond if needed for crisis response.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work with current Michigan licensure required. Must have two years of experience working in the mental health field with proven crisis intervention skills. Consideration given for a bachelor’s degree in human services with two years of experience working in the mental health field required. Knowledge of substance use disorders with current CAADC credential preferred. Master’s degree in social work with current Michigan licensure, preferred. Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.
Salary
Salary range $55,634 – $69,241 dependent on status of credential and experience plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension, and insurance. $1,000 signing bonus!

Intensive Case Management Specialist
Provides intensive, short-term supports to individuals with acute psychiatric symptoms in order to avoid more restrictive care settings and to maximize opportunities for recovery and desired quality of life. Functions as a part of an interdisciplinary team serving adults with serious mental illness. Participates in the Person-Centered Planning team to assist in the coordination and provision of services to individuals within the Agency and the community. Responsible for strength-based recovery assessment, plan development, linking, referring, coordinating, monitoring medications and symptoms, advocacy and
administrative duties in support of empowerment and self-determination. Assists in the development and implementation of crisis/safety/relapse plan.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related human services degree. Current Michigan social work licensure preferred. 3-5 years of experience providing service to persons who experience a serious mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders required. Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.
Salary
Salary range of $50,633 – $63,701 dependent on status of credential and experience, plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension, and insurance. $1,000 signing bonus!

Clinical Team Leader (I/DD Supports Coordination Team)
Coordinates limited aspects of team operations including clinical supervision, scheduling staff, reviewing clinical documents, providing input on administrative documents, ensuring compliance with agency and state requirements, and giving input to the Clinical Services Program Manager on staff performance. Reviews work of a team of professionals to ensure interventions are clinically appropriate. Provides direct clinical service to program participants which may include psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy/education, diagnosis, and person-centered planning. May also be responsible for providing case management and/or supports coordination services to individuals who have a intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling with appropriate Michigan licensure. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the clinical treatment of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Prior supervisory experience in a mental health setting preferred. Must have competency in information system applications and have a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license and the availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.
Pay Range
Salary range of $68,496 – $81,097 based on licensure plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension and insurance.

Qualifications

Wage

Psychiatrist
Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide outpatient psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, medication review and treatment to individuals in need of specialty psychiatric services. Services are provided in a culturally competent and trauma informed manner that focuses on a person-centered approach. In addition, prepare treatment plans, coordinate and communicate clinical decision making with input from the individual and other providers (case managers, PCPs, etc.) to ensure care is provided in a recovery-based and integrated approach. In addition, this candidate will serve as a collaborating physician for mid-level practitioners.
Qualifications
Requires M.D. or D.O. degree. Required Michigan Medical license, valid DEA required. Recognized Board Certification/eligibility preferred. Clinical experience with children and/or adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred. Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment preferred. Computer skills including experience with electronic medical record for consumer charting preferred.
