Accounting Manager

Responsible for various accounting functions of the agency, including supervision of accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, and facilities staff. Directly involved with the development of the agency budget, monitors revenue and expenditure trends, submits financial statements to the Board of Directors, investment of public funds, and lead manager on the agency’s annual audit. Also responsible for general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and related functions such as contract compliance, accounts payable, and payroll. Reports financial data to various governing entities and ensures all financial operations meet appropriate accounting standards.

Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience. Healthcare, managed care or governmental accounting experience preferred. Must possess knowledge of governmental audit requirements, accounting regulations, reporting procedures, etc. Strong supervisory and effective oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to demonstrate competence related to IT applications.

Salary
Salary range of $73,659 – $88,340

Client Services Specialist
Position available to support the person-centered planning team to assist in the coordination and provision of service for adults who have an intellectual disability. Responsible for assessment, plan development, linking, coordinating, advocacy, etc.

Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related human services degree. Current Michigan social work licensure along with experience providing service to adults who have an intellectual disability preferred. Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license, proof of insurance and availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.

Salary
Salary range of $50,633 – $63,701 based on licensure plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension, and insurance. $1,000 signing bonus!

Residential Technician
Full-time 2nd shift (2 p.m. – 10 p.m.) and full-time 3rd shift (10 p.m. – 6 a.m.) positions available to provide support in a residential setting to people who experience an intellectual disability. Assists residents with maintaining and developing relationships in their home and their community. Facilitates a variety of activities and creates an atmosphere that promotes independence, personal decision-making, and self-sufficiency. Carries out behavior treatment plans. Assists with activities of daily living, personal care, meal preparation, passing medications, and transportation.
$500 signing bonus!

Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working with people who have an intellectual disability is preferred. Must be willing to attend and complete paid training including group home curriculum and CPR and First Aid. Possession of a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license is required. Must have the physical ability to carry out the typical job duties. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Wage
Base rate of $18.86 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, pension plan, and paid training.

Psychiatrist
Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide outpatient psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, medication review and treatment to individuals in need of specialty psychiatric services. Services are provided in a culturally competent and trauma informed manner that focuses on a person-centered approach. In addition, prepare treatment plans, coordinate and communicate clinical decision making with input from the individual and other providers (case managers, PCPs, etc.) to ensure care is provided in a recovery-based and integrated approach. In addition, this candidate will serve as a collaborating physician for mid-level practitioners.

Qualifications
Requires M.D. or D.O. degree. Required Michigan Medical license, valid DEA required. Recognized Board Certification/eligibility preferred. Clinical experience with children and/or adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred. Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment preferred. Computer skills including experience with electronic medical record for consumer charting preferred.

Salary range is negotiable based on license and experience.
