Home-Based Services and Infant Mental Health Services

Home-Based Services

What Are Home-Based Services?

Home-Based Services help children ages 3 to 17 and their families get mental health support. These services are provided in the family’s home and are designed to meet each family’s unique needs.

Services may include:

  • Individual therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Case management
  • Parenting support and education
  • Skill-building for children and families
  • Psychiatric services
  • Help working with schools
  • Crisis support when needed

The amount of support depends on each family’s needs, but families will meet with a therapist at least once a week.

How Do Home-Based Services Help?

A Home-Based Clinical Specialist works with the child and family to help improve daily life. They help children do better at home, in school, and in the community.

The program focuses on family strengths, goals, and hopes for the future. Staff also help families connect with community resources and get the support they need from schools and other organizations.
